Things we will need :
INSURANCE CARD
No insurance no plates. It's that simple. Bring in a current NY scannable insurance card. The effective date on the card must be within 180 days of today.
Your full name must also be listed just as it appears on your license or abbreviated where necessary.
For business', the insurance card must match your filing receipt.
IDENTIFICATION
You must have a valid NYS ID, 6 points of ID or filing receipt if you are a business in order to register a vehicle

TITLE OR OWNERSHIP DOCUMENTS
You must bring in the original title or ownership documents. This includes any and all paperwork that was given by a car dealer.
DMV FORMS
...Last but not least are the dreaded DMV forms. You can download them or stop by and pick some up from us. Either way we can help you fill them out. If you bought a vehicle from a dealer you will also need their bill of sale on their letter head.
